In 1917, the world's first pair of ALL STAR canvas shoes was born in the United States CONVERSE company, the early twentieth century known as the "basketball ambassador" of the United States professional basketball star CHUCK TAYLOR loved these new canvas shoes, convinced that ALL STAR shoes can let basketball players on the court run around and play to their heart's content, so he always carries a pair of ALL STAR canvas shoes wherever he goes. In 1923, in recognition of his contribution to the ALL STAR canvas shoes, Converse decided to award CHUCK TAYLOR with the "CHUCK TAYLOR" award. In 1923, Converse decided to make the CHUCK TAYLOR signature a part of the ALL STAR trademark in recognition of his contribution to the ALL STAR canvas shoes, and the ALL STAR CHUCK TAYLOR canvas shoes were born.

Since 1917, when the All-Star sneakers, the paradigm of Converse, were introduced, the Converse All-Star classic canvas shoes have become a household name around the world, known as the "Rolls Royce" of canvas shoes, and a symbol of American culture.
